Percussive Wealth

The percussion of "samba schools" (Escolas de Samba) and other sets uses the industrialized tambourine with a small metal or acrylic ring covered with skin on one of the edges and impacted with bamboo, wood or nylon sticks. Among several rhythms the "Carreteiro" stands out.

Brazilian Series: Tamborim 2 comes with more than 60 loops, in addition to the single Hits. Two Types of Tamborins are used.

In the new session we have a performance of the percussion Guru, Robson Batata, bringing an extensive variation of rhythms and grooves.

Recording using a pair of Neumann KM184, a Royer M122, and a Neumann U87. The preamp section used was a UA 2610, API 512A and Grace M501, routed in a Symphony Apogee.

Muletone presents Brazilian Series Tamborim 2. With more rhythmic variations and loops, the library features new groove options and varied rhythms than in the first version.

Rhythms

Two different tambourines were used in the recording. Explore rich rhythms from different styles with three different tempos and synchronized loops.

Performance

The Tamborim 2 was recorded by the great musician and percussionist Robson "Batata", renowned Brazilian musician.
